Effective July 1, 2012, the Housing Authority of Baltimore City will again accept requests from landlords for rental increases. If you rented a property and/or received a rent increase prior to July 2011, you must submit your request on the Rent Adjustment Request form by May 12, 2012. In May 1994, the Maryland Lead Poisoning Prevention Program statute was signed into law and became fully effective on February 24, 1996. This week Al Aiello will have a webinar presented by your Baltimore Reia. He will be giving away a 30 page overview of his program on asset protection. There is an old adage that says to sell the sizzle , not the steak. Don't spend all your time telling a buyer what you've done to the house or how great you think it is; tell them how and why they'll enjoy the new home more than their current house . Always call their current dwelling a house and the one your selling them as their new home.
